 Cully's Yamaha was first established,
in Hector Street Osborne Park in 1976, by Dealer principal Brian
Cull. In order to better service the northern suburbs a decision
was made to relocate to the current location on Wanneroo Road Balcatta
in 1980. Over the years Cullys have won many industry awards but
the one they take the most pride in was part of a National survey
conducted by Bike Australia to find Australia's best bike shops.
To be voted best bike shop in Western Australia by Bike Australia
readers was a great honour. Following is an extract from Bike Australia
covering the awards.
WESTERN AUSTRALIA
Just north of Perth in Balcatta, you will find Cully's Yamaha where
"service is excellent" and owner Brian is always ready to help with
any problem even when the shop is full of other customers, prices
are good even if like one of our readers you ride an ex-Police Yamaha
and every other dealer treats you like a leper. Friendliness ranks
highly.

Features like these awards are impossible without the help of our
readers and you once again demonstrated that BIKE AUSTRALIA readers
are interested in getting involved and doing things not just blankly
reading someone else's ideas. Before I go let me just note that
you seem to consider FRIENDLINESS as just about the most important
asset any motorcycle shop can have. Competence, honesty, reasonable
prices, efficiency and good stocks of parts and accessories are
all considered important but it is FRIENDLINESS and courtesy that
make the real difference. "There is a lesson there for any motorbike
shop manager or owner who cares to learn it."

While a heavy emphasis is placed on selling new Yamaha motorcycles
considerable effort is ensured that a excellent workshop is provided
as well as a heavily stocked parts and accessories department to
ensure everyone is satisfied with their after sales service.
